What we require from you for your Parcel Post clearance

Received the First Notice from Australia Post ?

You have been expecting your international parcel to arrive and instead you receive from Australia Post, notification that your parcel is being held by customs.

The most common reasons that parcels are being held by customs is they may want to inspect the item further or that you need to pay import duty.

For goods with a value equal to or less than AUD1000 there are generally no duties, taxes or charges to pay. You will need to pay duties and taxes on some goods (like tobacco, tobacco products or alcoholic beverages) regardless of their value.
